Mold Damage – Norristown Rental Unit

Mold damage had spread considerably in this Norristown vacant rental unit. The biggest contributing factor to the mold growth was standing water in the unit. The property owner was naturally concerned about additional mold damage growing in other areas where there was additional standing water. Our trained technicians upon confronting these conditions would suction up the standing water and then construct a containment unit to keep mold spores from disbursing throughout the unit during our cleanup. The crew would then tear out and dispose of the damaged drywall. A drying phase would then be implemented with the use of commercial air movers and dehumidifiers. Then the crew would treat the entire area with an antimicrobial substance to inhibit any additional mold growth.
